Let us condemn the barbarism of Governor UDPS of Maniema which ordered the armed attack and with stones of the procession of Moïse Katumbi Chapwe, after destruction of his Countryside.
1. As part of his assistance project to actors victims of political intolerance in pre-electoral, electoral and post-electoral periods in Africa, the box severely condemns armed attacks on the procession of Moïse Katumbi Chapwe to Kindu who
caused the death of Mr. Dido Kakisingi, head of the youth league for the Republic, after the hicination destruction of his from campaign to Kindu on the night of Monday 27 to Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
2. The UDPS who had always proclaimed himself a democratic party demonstrates every day that all his slogans of "peaceful struggle" and "people first" were only cosmetics and opportunistic.
3. The box is only documenting acts of UDPS intolerance against any serious candidate in the presidential election in the DRC. Not long ago, the UDPS/Kasumbalesa called Base-Bilanga had threatened from preventing any meeting of the same candidate in this part of Haut-Katanga.
4. Acts of intolerance against the candidate Katumbi have intensified more since his application file was validated by the CENI and the Constitutional Court last October. 7. The box attracts the attention of the Secretary General of the UDPS to the bellicose behavior of its members both by being in opposition yesterday and in power today. The presidential party had inspired several Congolese for its allegedly democratic fight when in reality, once in power, the UDPS proves that it is a dangerous, sectarian and barbaric organization. The leaders of this party should seriously reflect on our observations, if they are due to an exemplary political future in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
