LET US CONDEMN THE DIVISIONIST STATEMENTS OF FÉLIX TSHISEKEDI AND JEAN-PIERRE BEMBA GOMBO.
LET US CONDEMN THE DIVISIONIST STATEMENTS OF FELIX TSHISEKEDI AND JEAN-PIERRE BEMBA GOMBO. LET US INVITE OTHER POLITICAL LEADERS NOT TO FALL INTO THE TRAP OF TRIBAL SEPARATISM AND ELECTORAL XENOPHOBIA.
1. CASE firmly condemns the xenophobic remarks of Candidate FÉLIX TSHISEKEDI stigmatizing Ba-Swahili in general and candidates from the East in particular. These declarations made in Lubumbashi are not dignified and risk increasing intercommunity tensions in the country.
2. CASE also denounces the incendiary speech of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, Mr. Jean-Pierre BEMBA GOMBO who allowed himself to spit on the law relating to Congolese nationality after the Candidate MOÏSE KATUMBI CHAPWE was regularly registered in the presidential race.
3. The weakness of argument of these two leaders of the Sacred Union should not lead to extremes to the point of encouraging populations to settle scores geopolitically, the case of Grand Kasai where very regrettable cases of intolerance have been deplored .
4. CASE invites Mr. MOÏSE KATUMBI not to follow the game of arsonists who do not know how to confront it on the field of the campaign.
5. CASE invites the Congolese people to calm down.
