Goma offers thousands of volunteers to the Congolese Revolutionary Army (ARC). Each week, hundreds of young people adhere to the army of the Congo River Alliance (AFC/M23). 

- A total of 4 girls and 31 boys determined to follow military training in the AFC/m23 army manifested last week in the Muja district. They made this decision on Thursday, May 22, 2025 after awareness raised at the Mudja grouping office by the mobilization and recruitment team which knew how to convince these young people that the security of the DRC in general and the Mudja group in particular will depend on their commitment to the Congolese revolutionary army. 

- ⁠alain Mutumayi, member of the mobilization and recruitment coordination in the territory of Nyiragongo said he was delighted with the determination of these young people from Mudja. They will choose during their training the military or the national police or the national police, said Théo Ruremesha, assistant provincial coordinator of mobilization and recruitment.
