The liberation of political and opinion prisoners should be the priority of the candidate for power during this period of electoral campaign. The box invites the Tshisekedi president to be a democrat and defender of public freedoms.

1. The box regrets the insensitivity of the Tshisekedi regime, whose essentially innocent political victims in all the charges attributed to them, always languish in the prisons of the country, in contradiction with its very first political promise before its accession to power. Most of the arrests made in the DRC in the past five years are in the domain of arbitrariness, that is to say, brutal abductions without ever complying with the legal proceedings in force. In addition, the services used in the capture of the victims of said arrests are incompatible with the quality of the defendants. Whether it is the Republican Guard (GR), halfip and still the National Intelligence Agency (ANR), these various defense corps have seriously compromised without the President of the Republic institution.

2. On the contrary, the head of state only tightens the tone against the people and against his political adversaries. His speeches in Mbuji-Mayi on June 27, 2023 and Brussels in September of the same year did not reassure a good democratic perspective in the country before, during and after the elections.

3. The box invites President Félix Tshisekedi to get rid of any anti-democratic reputation before the elections of December 20 by ordering a measure of presidential pardon in favor of illegally arrested personalities. Despite the public arrests made to him by the population during the electoral campaign, notably in Kindu on the Salomon Kalonda case, Mr. Félix Tshisekedi remains insensitive to the concerns of the latter.

4. The box notes that no reparation has never been made with regard to the victims of political, police or military brutality since the coming to power of President Tshisekedi. It is the same for the insults made in his name to different Congolese authorities and public figures by his private spokesperson in the person of his excellence Mr. Dinosaur, not otherwise identified. The nasty destruction operated in the residences of former power dignitaries (FCC) who overwhelmed until the residence of the famous journalist Jean-Marie Kassamba, were never taken care of by the government of the Republic. The irregular search of the residence of the mother of Mr. Salomon Kalonda and the Matata family in Lubumbashi as well as several cases of expropriation of the property of the private sector, have never drawn the attention of the President of the Republic.

5. The box invites the candidate Félix Tshisekedi, President of the Republic in office, to look at these sensitive files which affect the life of the Congolese population and which seriously tarnish its image. The few personalities below require a measure of presidential grace:
- Mr. Salomon Idi Kalonda Della, high representative of the Republic, seriously ill at the Military Prison of Ndolo;
- The Honorable Mike Mukebay Nkoso, senior overall frame for the Republic imprisoned in the central prison of Makala;
- Mr. Kabongo Mutoke Gabby, UDPS candidate in the electoral district of Lubumbashi;
- Mr. Nestor Kipala Moto Esango, member of the PPRD (People's Party for Reconstruction and Democracy) and assistant at the Applied Technical Institute (ISTA), nailed to Makala.

6. The other emblematic case is that of journalist Stany Bujakera Tshamala, correspondent of Jeune Afrique in Kinshasa, placed under provisional arrest warrant since Monday, September 11, 2023. After having followed this case in all his facets, the box considers that the journalist is the victim of his professionalism which would annoy certain dignitaries of the Tshisekedi regime. Mr. Bujakera whose professional fame has become global undeniable, is a too much prisoner who deserves to find his profession as quickly as possible in this period of electoral campaign.

7. The box nevertheless welcomes the few cases already settled by justice such as:
- Mr. Barnabé Milinganyo Wimana, released on Tuesday, November 26, 2023 after having completely served his sentence in Makala prison and
- Mr. Lens Omelonga, flight manager released on Saturday December 2, 2023.
8. Political and opinion prisoners are a huge black task for Tshisekedi governance likely to influence his campaign for a second presidential term.
