The fights were violent involving five localities in the region. No dead in the population, only two injured who received lost bullets were identified. Here is the first photo of the AFC forces when taking Kalembe (Walikale) yesterday Sunday.

- Witnesses speak of particularly intense and violent clashes Sunday October 20 between the revolutionaries of the Congo River Alliance (AFC) and the Government Coalition made up essentially of FDLR and Wazalendo with some war technicians of the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC).

- The fights lasted almost five hours (5h) in full city without obliging the population to leave the agglomeration, the fighting that broke out at 1 am in Kalembe, located straddling the territories of Masisi and Walikale. Attack marked by an advance of the AFC elements, which, for the first time, managed to occupy a good part of the territory of Walikale, a sector hitherto spared by the intensity of the war.

- The fights have involved several surrounding villages, notably Bwito, Ibuga-Kashuga, Kitunda and Ihula, with Kalembe as the main theater of clashes. Around 10 am, the Congolese Revolutionary Army (ARC/AFC) occupied the neighboring agglomeration of Kalonge, part of Kalembe. AFC troops came from Kashuga and continued their conquest on these different fronts.

- the population has not recorded any deceased victim. The slight human record is marked by wounded among civilians, two young boys affected by lost bullets during fire exchanges. Many civilians have taken refuge in sanitary structures, others were terrified in their homes, while some fled in the bush to escape the effects of the fighting. All the inhabitants were invited to resume their normal activities and all the illegal barriers and taxes removed.

"Unlike the propaganda of Tshisekedi, all AFC military conquests never generate human consequences in the population. This is the reason why the forces of Corneille Nangaa and Sultani Makenga are always welcomed in the joy wherever they arrive"
