Tanzanian soldiers and Sudafricans of the SADC killed in the fighting by the Congo river alliance of Corneille Nangaa and Sultani Makenga around Sake, a city located 27 kilometers from Goma. 15 other soldiers taken prisoner would have been released last weekend from Rutshuru and returned to their country.     

• Four South African and Tanzanian soldiers of the SADC mission (Samidrc) who came to support the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC) fell behind during violent fights between the government coalition to the Congolese Revolutionary Army (ARC) of the Congo River Alliance (AFC) 27 kilometers from Goma, capital of North Kivu.

• During the same clashes, the SADC troops also recorded many injured and invaluable losses in war materials. 

• While Félix Tshisekedi is embedded in controversy with Paul Kagame, the military situation on the field of operations is not at all in his favor. The AFC has already made several prisoners of war, including Burundian soldiers, FDLR, Wazalendo, South Africans, Tanzanians and FARDC. 

• Since the start of this war, Tshisekedi has never won the slightest victory for lack of experience and by indelicacy in the management of Congolese ethnic communities. 

• At this pace, Corneille Nangaa and Sultani Makenga are likely to no longer access the demand for negotiation of the African Union mediator in the person of Mr. Lourenço, President of the Republic of Angola.
