1. The Congo River Alliance (AFC/M23) draws the attention of the national and international community to the current genocide against our Banyamulenge compatriots, perpetrated by the coalition forces of the Kinshasa regime, in particular the FARDC, the FDLR, the Wazalendo militias and the national defense of Burundi, in view of all. ⁠The terrorist attacks, carried out by the Kinshasa regime, destroy infrastructure, kill, hurt and move many of our Banyamulenge compatriots in the densely populated areas of Rugezi, Minembwe, Mikenke, Kundondo, Rurambo and their surroundings, thus provoking an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. This situation takes place in guilty silence on the part of the international community and humanitarian organizations.

3. AFC/M23 remains engaged in favor of a peaceful resolution of the conflict and reiterates its commitment to protect and defend the civilian population as well as their positions.
