SOUTH KIVU: TSHISEKEDI KILLS SEVERAL BANYAMULENGE TO TAKE VENGEANCE ON SWAHILOPHONIC POPULATIONS. 

1. The Congo River Alliance (AFC/M23) draws the attention of the national and international community to the ongoing genocide against our Banyamulenge compatriots, perpetrated by the coalition forces of the Kinshasa regime, notably the FARDC, the FDLR, the Wazalendo militias and the Burundi National Defense Force, in full view of all.

2. ⁠These terrorist attacks, carried out by the Kinshasa regime, destroy infrastructure, kill, injure and displace a large number of our Banyamulenge compatriots in the densely populated areas of Rugezi, Minembwe, Mikenke, Kundondo, Rurambo and their surroundings, thus causing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. This situation is taking place in guilty silence on the part of the international community and humanitarian organizations.

3. The AFC/M23 remains committed to a peaceful resolution of the conflict and reiterates its commitment to protect and defend the civilian population as well as its positions.
